ROPAX SALAMANCA Delivered In Weihai

CHMI (Weihai) delivered the first E-Flexer dual-fuel ROPAX Vessel SALAMANCA (W0269) on Nov. 30, 2021, which is the first dual-fuel ROPAX vessel in China to both reach phase 3 of EEDI index and achieve on-schedule delivery.

The high-end RoPax vessel SALAMANCA has a length of 214.5 meters, a moulded breadth of 27.8 meters, a designed draft of 6.4 meters, a designed speed of 23 knots, a trailer lane length of 2,705 meters, a capacity of 1,015 passengers and a number of 341 passenger cabins, which meets the requirements of 1C ice class and the latest international specifications such as safe return to port (SRTP) and is classified as DNV classification society. Equipped with fin stabilizer for comfortable design, the vibration and noise meets the requirements of COMF V (2). There are duty-free shops, bars, game rooms, VIP lounges, children's parks, restaurants, cafes, sun decks and other public places of entertainment in the accommodation area.

Nantong Haijing, as a partner of R&M MIT, a famous interior contractor, is responsible for the interior construction of the public area on deck 7 and total 5 main stairways of the ship. With the successfully delivery of the ship, Haijing has completed the public area installation of total 6 STENA series ships, and accumulated rich experience in interior installation of luxury passenger ships.
